I love the way in which the pictures depicts the triumph of Jesus in his resurrection. On one side you can see Adam and Eve. Christ is freeing them from the realm of the dead (remember when Peter says that Christ went down into hell to preach there?). There is this beautiful apocryphal story (the gospel of Nicodemus) which tells of Jesus' descent into hell, where he breaks the doors and frees all the fathers (and of course mothers) of Israel and takes Adam and Eve as the first of creation out of Hades.
On the other side there's also Adam and Eve, but now in royal robes, bringing worship to Jesus.
This picture makes me realize how immensely great and powerful the resurrection is.
