Good news! 80's rock still has a voice in the Christian radio world! This is evident by Stryper's cover of Peace of Mind debuting at #27. If you you have already, continue to request this song so we can spread the message of Christ through one of our own 80's bands!

I have heard it on real radio. I don't recall what timeslot, but I have definitely heard it. Now, whether secular radio stations will play it, I don't know; if it will even be made available.

That is good news! Finally, a song on the radio that makes Christ's message crystal clear.

It's not actually an 80s song btw. It's a 70s song by an 80s band trying to put a modern spin on it. I don't care for it myself. Anyone that does a cover of a legendary band and tune is going to mess with it and that sucks, unless it is so different that it brings a life all it's own to it, like what happened to Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." Both are memorable on their own.

BTW, I really am happy for Michael and that he got to do something that most people dream of. He literally fell into that gig, and it was a good deal. I wish he had the range of his youth so that the other guy wouldn't have been needed. Those Boston shows were impressive.

I checked them out and can't wait to hear all of them completely in their context. They did what they said they would do, which was capture the elements of the old days. I was hoping for harder, edgier stuff though.

Kenny is a great drummer. It's cool he recorded with them. If you ever have a chance to catch a drum clinic with him, you should. He is a slammin machine.
