In case anyone cares. I just got the tracks back from Greg X Volz for a tune he is doing for PDC. The man still has it. His harmonies are thick, tight and powerful. Love it. Can't wait for you guys to hear it.

John Schlitt and Louie were on the first one. Greg Bailey, Louie, and Greg Volz and Lawry are on the next two coming in 09.

Uhhhhh...no. That was funny. I have a guitar player that smokes Lichens in his sleep. He plays for James LeBrie (Dream Theater). When they couldn't get Andy Timmons, Marco stepped in and blew their minds. Andy is a great legendary player.

Yes. We could have had one extremely long CD. But the radio and sales people don't like that. Neither do the retailers. Neither do accountants. Anyway, the industry likes to have CDs that they can catagorize specifically. So one CD with multiple genres doesn't work. We nailed it down to two genres and discs.

We didn't want to get robbed by iTunes and others charging $9.99 for a record when it has 14 tunes (one of which is a prog rocker at 12 minutes long) and a total play time of 60 minutes. The buyer still comes out ahead this way and it is easier for us to accept.

People can check out the site for the poop on who is playing, what the tunes are, etc. More info will be coming. BTW, use Firefox or Safari. Explorer stinks for viewing www.projectdamagecontrol.com .

At the risk of contributing to yet another thread derailment, "opiate," in a nod to Marx.

I have talked to Jimi a couple of times but not about PDC. Jimi is a nice guy. IMO, Jimi and Rex need to do another King James record. That's what we talked about. I don't know how many would buy it now. Nonetheless, that would be the logical side project for him. PDC is not metal.

as much as id love to see another KJ album.. i think Jimi is right where he should be and that is in Viktor. id like to see him do metal again.. but i dont see it . i may be wrong tho.. I talk to him all the time either thru cell phone or email. I run Viktors facebook for him as well. Tho Viktor is slowly becoming known. i do what i can to promote them. He just recorded another song to make the 9 song pre release complete , and hopefully will be re released as a 10 song cd. still would love to see him and Rex on PDC. playing some good ole Rock!
