Whenever they decide to show it on base, I'll be there. They only started showing Wolverine today.

I just saw Wrath of Khan for the first time...Montalban had to be doing pushups like a monkey fighter.

Did you see William Shatner's interview about Richardo just after he passed away? He said that the man was in the same shape that he was in the 60s when he was a dancer on Broadway. He said that there was no make-up or fake chest implants in the costume. The dude was buff and strong as an ox.

Tattoo......Places everyone....places....

I went to it and thought it was a good movie. It may have not had the irreverence of the original series, but it was good action and a good story so they could go in a new direction.

The canadian sci-fi shannel Space happenned to play all the previous movies last week. Although I was a big fan of TNG, I haden't seen any of those movies until last week. I actually thought they were quite good.

BUT why did they eliminate Data? I couldn't believe it!! I hope the new franchise is as entertaining.

In Nemesis, Data's memory was uploaded into Data's knock-off. So all of his memories and experiences are there. The harware would have to evlolve to make use of it, which is easy in ST world. The real reason was that Brent did not want to reprise the role.

I think Brent Spiner's exact quote was "never again will I adorn this makeup"

BTW do any of you watch Fringe?

I caught the second or third episode. It didn't really grab me, but I'd be willing to check out a few more. I've yet to see a J.J. Abrams project I didn't like.

The only TV shows I've really kept up with over here have been Dollhouse, Chuck and Terminator: TSCC. I hope the first two get renewed. Terminator is only worth watching for Summer Glau; the plot is pretty awful and seems to have zero direction.

I haven't watched Dollhouse, Chuck, or Terminator series. I'm a huge J.J. Abrams fan all the way back to Alias. The shows I watch the most are Lost, Fringe, 24, and Life. My favorite show was The Shield but it ended its run last fall.

I'm not into science fiction much, but the pilot for Fringe really grabbed me, and I'v been glued ever since. It's a fascinating mix of all different types of shows.

Excellent movie. This should be the top summer blockbuster.
