The Petra Zone

Petheads,

This morning around 9:30 my time, my mother passed away. She too was a Petra fan. She was 57 years old. We could use some prayers concerning this issue.

I lost my dad on Mrch 8th (54 yrs old) Matastesized cancer/prostate cancer.
I am still very much struggling with his passing. We have a great God of hope and of comfort, but it sure does hurt.

I am crying with you.

PM if you want to share, vent, rage, cry, whatever. I know I did all of the above, even still today.

:God, grant my friend in Christ strength for today, peace for tomorrow, and Your blessed comfort and love throughout. Amen:

My dad just passed away April 17th and It's hard. Your in my prayers. Remember Jesus said Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Jesus lost his earthly father so he knows the grief your going through.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We thank you for your presence in our lives and for your loving care and forgiveness you give to us. Lord, we thank you that we can come before your throne to make our requests known to you. Jesus, there is a family that is hurting because their mother, wife and friend passed on to be with you. Lord we pray that you would surround them with your loving arms, let them find rest in the shelter of your wings and may they find refreshment through your word and loving friends and family members you will send their way. May they feel your presence so strongly Lord that their grief may not overwhelm them. Lord fill them with the joy of your awesome love and help them to lean into your strong arms which will uphold them.

Thank You Lord that you comfort us, for you are our comforter. Thank you for loving this famiily through this difficult time.
We pray this humbly in Jesus Name. AMEN
