another prayer request
Hello fellow Petheads,I have another request, this morning I was to go an d take my wife's grandmother to run a few arrands, got there and she was telling me that her chest was hurting and I might have to call 911.before I knew it she had called herself and they where there in a matter of minutes. I was freeked out I have never really had to deal with something like this. If you all remember Meagan's Grandfather passed away in April. I guess just pray for us to have strength through this we are not sure how much longer she will be around. Also Sue thank you for being such a Great friend and knowing what all is going with us.

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for watching over Meagan's grandmother. Lord we pray that You would watch over her and strengthen her heart. Please grant wisdom to the doctors so that they can find out what is causing the problem and can prescribe the proper meds. Keep her calm and trusting in You Lord and surround Meagan's grandma with Your love and Your peace and help her to rest. Thank You Lord for the love that she has in her family members and please comfort the family as well. Amen.

Johnathan,
Your cousin got shot in the head?? How did that happen? Oh, my your family HAS been through the ringer, hasn't it. Well, I'll keep praying for you guys........and Meagan's grandma.
Dear Lord,
I want to lift up this precious family to you to ask You that You might comfort them and surround them with Your loving arms as they have faced so many problems. How wonderful it is to know that we can come to You and say: Daddy, help! You are full of mercy and kindness and in our darkest hours, You bring light. Help them to have the strength to go through this difficult time. I also pray for this cousin's immediate family for Your protection and comfort as they will miss him.
Thank You Jesus that we may ask these things in Your Name. Amen

I went to the dr today and guess what i have to have surgery again of tuesday i honestly have to tell you guys that i am scared i hope that this will be the last time it is not fun. Once again i will be on the couch, and if you guys knew me man it is killing me i am so active usually,I think God is saying hey buddy it is time to slow down and spend time with your Father and I will show you what your purpose here is. At least that is what i am thinking.

Johnathan,
I'm glad to hear that your cousin was a Christian, you are right, he's with the Lord right now.
Seems like one thing after another is happening to you - now also another surgery.
Dear Jesus,
I so understand how frustrating it is when someone is active and they can't be anymore because they are going through pain or health problems. Lord, You know all about pain, physical pain and the suffering it brings, so I ask on behalf of Johnathan, that YOu would touch Him with strength from on high and that You might comfort him that he physically will feel peace in His heart. Fear is not of you and Lord, I know so well the anxious thoughts one goes through before going into surgery. But Jesus you know Johnathan's needs and his anxious heart and I pray that You will show him clearly that You are in control and that he can depend and trust in You with all of his heart. Bring him peace, Lord, in such a way that he can physically feel it. Help him to make sense of all what's going on in his life, and allow him to use this time wisely to spend time with You and grow into a deeper understanding of Your Word, Your purpose and into a deeper relationship with You.
Lord, give the doctors wisdom as they operate on Tuesday, grant them steady hands and may that operating room be filled with Your Spirit and Your peace.
Thank you Jesus for the provisions for this man and his family. Thank you for providing for Him and that all things in his life are already worked out by You, so that he does not have to fear or worry.
Thank You Jesus for hearing this prayer and we thank You for the answer that brings your peace.
AMEN
Try not to be anxious, Johnathan, I know that's easier said than done, but it'll soon be over and you'll be on your way to recovery. Keep in mind that God's got a purpose for all this, and even though you are in that circumstance and if you are like me, you just wanna get out of it and not haveta deal with it, but sometimes we face this........and if we can still be thankful within that circumstance, then we have grasped hold of something quite awesome. I haven't always been thankful FOR the circumstance, but I've also learned what it's like when you can still be thankful IN the circumstance, because no matter what....God's in control.
Just remember that Jesus loves you and you use that downtime to dig into the Word, you might be amazed what God may show you that He wanted you to know, but sometimes we are way too busy to just sit down and - be still..............
