1. Vengeance Rising — ‘Human Sacrifice’ (1989, Intense Records, to be re-released this fall on Intense Millennium Records)
2. Tourniquet – ‘Psycho Surgery’ (1991, Intense Records, available as a re-release directly from the band, tourniquet.net)
3. Deliverance — ‘Deliverance’ (1989, Intense Records, I believe it was re-released by Retroactive Records recently.)
4. Whitecross — ‘Whitecross’ (1987, Pure Metal, album re-recorded and released as ’1987′ on Retroactive or Girder Music.)
5. Extol — ‘Undeceived’ (2000, Solid State)
6. Stryper — ‘To Hell With The Devil’ (1986, Enigma)
7. Sacred Warrior — ‘Obsessions’ (1991, Intense)
8. Bloodgood — ‘Detonation’ (1987, Frontline)
9. Bride — ‘Snakes in the Playground’ (1992, Star Song)
10. Believer — ‘Sanity Obscure’ (1990, R.E.X.)

I don't know about this list. I have 8 of the ten listed here.

I have 8/10 also. I agree with the list for the most part, but would have included Barren Cross' "Atomic Arena" and moved Bloodgood's "Detonation" up to the top. The 2 that I do not have are Extol & Believer

It's obvious they started with the 80s and glossed over some good tunes from the late 70s.

Pretty much late 80's and early 90's Frontline releases, no? I like Tourniquet but would have listed Pathogenic Ocular instead. Never cared much for Deliverance but the list is alright.

I like good tunes from the 70s. What would you put in there?

The choices were few for "metal" back in that era. The stuff I was listening to would have been 78-79 area. I would say that Jerusalem could have to be in there. There were rock albums with metal songs on them. Sweet Comfort had "Find Your Way" which comes close.

Will have to think about the rest.
