Just started listening to John Elefante's "On My Way to the Sun" for the first time. Pretty good so far.
Here's the review:

I also have the Defying Gravity album, which I enjoy.

I like This is How the Story Goes a lot. I also love Confess. You should check out Revolution of Mind, the album before this one. It has a more classic rock type sound. I prefer it a little more, although I think the first track of this one (TIHTSG) is better than everything on ROM.

Re: John Elefante - Windows of Heaven
I found Elefante's Windows of Heaven for $5 at a record shop over the weekend. Not a bad purchase, but so far I find that Defying Gravity and On My Way to the Sun are better albums.
Here's what Amazon buyers had to say about it:

John Elefante - Corridors
My car tunes this week:

So far, it's been a great listen.
It seems very familiar. Were some of these songs released to radio at the time?

Re: John Elefante
Yes, I believe Corridors was a radio hit, at least where I was living at the time. I think Not Just Any Other Day also got a bit of radio play. That's my favorite album of his, besides the original Mastedon stuff. Defying Gravity is a close second. Windows of Heaven has some great songs on it, but it's not one I want to go back and listen to.
