My main thought is: I miss the “golden age.”

I was never in the 'golden age' but many times I wish I was

I agree. Very few good classic style c-rock bands now.... John elefante, John Schlitt, The Union of Sinners and Saints and Project Damage Control are some of the very few.

Love the old pic of the Resurrection Band you posted! I still listen to quite a bit of the classic Christian Rock.

Stryper is still making incredible music so you should check out some of their songs since they got back together. Here are my favourites: Yahweh, Fallen, The Calling, King of Kings, Lost, The Valley, The Devil Doesn't Live Here, Can't Live Without Your Love, No More Hell To Pay, Legacy, Marching Into Battle, Saved by Love, God, Murder By Pride, I Believe, Passion, Reborn, Live Again

As for other bands I still listen to regularly, they include Petra, Resurrection Band, Daniel Band, The 77s, and Daniel Amos

I looooove Classic Christian Rock!
I like Petra, Guardian, Ressurection Band, Whiteheart, Whitecross, Angelica, Stryper and lots more. I haven't really checked out much of anyone's new stuff really. I like Sorry by Stryper. But I don't really know very much other new stuff. I like Yahweh's verses but not the chorus so I don't listen to it. But I will check out more of everybody's stuff, since you can always learn something new!

No problem! They have other Christian music stations on that site as well.

The requesting is good, but you can only easily request songs that they have in their catalogs. However, I have successfully requested songs by email (by Daniel Amos, Stryper, Daniel Band, Resurrection Band, and the 77s) and they've added some to their list as a result. Sometimes the people there don't know some of the artists very well, so they miss out on some great songs.

I've also discovered some great music from that site.

Oh, really? Cool, cuz I would like some of my favs on there. I’m sad that some of the really great songs on there aren’t on Spotify. I have made an account and I got the app cause it’d be easier than looking it up all the time. My favorite station is the ChristianClassicRock one because it has the most relevant to what I like. My older sister likes TFK so I sent her a picture of them playing. Right now I’m listening to No Doubt by Petra which I had requested awhile ago😊

I love that app! It has become my go-to music app while doing yard work. I have stopped mowing many times to check the phone display when hearing a song that I didn’t know. Have discovered some “new” artists, and some that I just didn’t give a proper listen to before.

One thing only is that it’s hard when two good songs start playing at the same time, forcing you to choose one or the other
