Re: Christian bands & their secular counterparts
So I just got to actually thinking- is New Jerusalem a band or were you talking about newer Jerusalem as in the band Jerusalem with Dancing on the Head of The Serpent??

Re: Christian bands & their secular counterparts
I'm talking about them as a seperate band that existed for an album of two a long time ago. I don't think they were very popular but they did sound somewhat like ZeppelinDiehardpetrafan:) wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:13 amSo I just got to actually thinking- is New Jerusalem a band or were you talking about newer Jerusalem as in the band Jerusalem with Dancing on the Head of The Serpent??

Talking Heads-Burning Down The House & Daniel Amos'-Darn Floor Big Bite
I think that one of the biggest resemblances between a Christian song & and a secular song is
Burning Down the House by Talking Heads
Darn Floor, Big Bite by Daniel Amos

https://youtu.be/9MkputBpaq0 - DF, BB
It's funny how they sound alike

Yes! Ok I forgot about that one. That's what I immediately thought when I first heard it!
I am going to have to listen to I am on the Rock and Pour Some Sugar on Me together & I've never heard Real.

This isn't Christian + Secular but The verses for The Finish Line by Steve Taylor
