Petra should do a live concert cd
Hi my friends of the Petra zone, it has been awhile since my last post from my computer at my work station here at Shop Nbc in Eden Prairie Mn where i have been listening to a live Stryper cd, and i thought to myself, what if Petra could do something like this for all of the fans young, and old from all over the world to help tell the world that Jesus is alive, and Petra means rock. What are your thoughts on a live cd ? Thank you for your reply on this matter, your Minnesota pethead

Brent
Brent is an audio engineer dude. He's been mixing sound for several decades, including lots of CCM shows. He can be a little blunt from time to time, but in general he knows what he's talking about.

Double
The new Daniel Amos double album is incredible. But, true, it will never sell big time. It did satisfy this niche DA fan, though.

The one album that broke the second rule: Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness by Smashing Pumpkins.brent wrote:From a record label stand point, there are two records that never sell well, 1) Live records, 2) double records.
Only one live record broke that rule: Peter Frampton.

You're brave for admitting you own an 8-track, Sue. I remember those. Do you have an 8-track player that works? I like some of Barry Manilow's stuff.

That is not correct. The Wall by Pink Floyd was a double record, and:
Nevertheless, the album topped the Billboard charts for 15 weeks, selling over a million copies in its first two months of sales and in 1999 was certified 23x platinum. It remains one of the best-selling albums of all time in the US, between 1979 and 1990 selling over 19 million copies worldwide.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wall
