Based on Anton's post I have to say it again....Booooooooooooooooo!
I will buy it but will be disappointed if J.K., J & H, Solos, etc. are not included.

You're going to be out of the country Sue? You want to tell the nosy bunch here where you'll be?
Hehehe....I'll be on a wonderful 2-week vacation in Aruba!
My folks are giving all the kids/grandkids this trip (otherwise there would be no way I could afford to go).
I won't have phone service, but I will be able to access email & the web (heavy sigh of relief!)
The place we're staying at (
http://playalinda.com/) has a webcam - I'll be waving at you all!

Yes, Tom - I would definitely hire you to carry bags (heaven knows I'll have enough of them!).
Yup, I know where Carlos & Charlie's is - you really don't want to visit that part of San Nicholas in the dark hours of the night.

I still love Petra but could care less about listening to Peter Fu(r)ler. What is that about?
It's about marketing.
Putting Inpop's co-owner on there also promotes the Newsboys (yes, I'm capitalizing it) at the same time. Newsboys are also putting out a CD/live DVD this year.
I could be wrong and maybe he has the purest of motives.... but what better way to get your band's name out there and market to a fan base whose band is now retired and might possibly be looking for another group to spend their money on

I'm mad that I didn't get to fly the spaceship from the Newsboys CD "Take Me to Your Leader."
Michael, where did you see the cover, etc? If you don't mind me asking.

Are we sure that this is the final list? Christian Book Distributors (christianbook.com) has Judas Kiss listed as being on the DVD, but musichristian.com does NOT...and Best Buy's website doesn't even have a track list. Could it be that no one really knows for sure (at least, no one who posts to this website)?

Looks like the drum solo I recorded with my camera phone is worth something.

This is a huge letdown. I was really looking forward to hearing the stuff that was not on the cd. Of course this COULD BE an early tracklist. If you'll remember the early list for the cd had the songs that were not included. I hope this is the case
As far as Peter Furler's interveiw. Ill bet you money it is about Petra's influence on the Newsboys.

Petra should have signed contracts that said that people could not used their songs without permission(such as best ofs). It is my opinion that record companies that Petra used to be affiliated with are taking their taking their retirement for granted. Now I am glad that Bob actually had something to do with this new greatest hits cd.

Petra actually doesn't have a lot of say so about "best of" releases; that's pretty much the record company's call. It's not illegal, but I have to question whether it's fair or ethical. As long as there's money to be made, they won't hesitate to try to cash in...And that's from someone who's probably the original Little Mary Sunshine. Don't anyone else dare call me that either, or I'll punch your lights out, LOL. From what I understand, Bob was involved in the 30 year collection, so maybe they'll get something from that.
I would love for Judas' Kiss, Lord I Lift Your Name, the drum solo, heck, the whole concert to be on the DVD, but I'll be glad to have the DVD.
