Of the three praise recordings, I like this one least although it has tis highlights. I really liked the DVD that came out with this cd although it was not available free in Canada, so I had to get it off Ebay. It was worth it though. My fave off this cd is Send Revival, with a close second being How Long. WWTSJLH, Better is One day, and Jesus Friend of Sinners also get attention from me. The rest of it is b-sides. Oaisis, Prodicals Song, and You Satisfy are bland and Amazing Grace is saved from extinction by their live set on Farewell. This is another example of Petra trying to be what everyone else wanted them to be. They should just be themselves. I was surprised by another worship record too but InPop wanted to do it I guess. Overall, not one of their best records.

I know Petra didn't have alot of options heading their way but what were they thinking? This sound that the producers put together lacks everything that Petra was/is. I was more disappointed with this offering than DT. This album did nothing but put Petra in the grave as far as I'm concerned.
I totally agree 101% - Revival was another grand disappointment for me.

hahahahahahaha - makes sense

In my opinion, this is not a real Petra album. It doesn't even sound like Petra except for John's voice. NO originals, all the eleven songs are covers of songs by other artists (I think). And very little rock energy at all. Petra's musical identity was manipulated by the producers to create something that sounds more like Chris Tomlin or FFH.

"Amazing Grace" gets my vote - this song's okay, though it has some dumb-sounding keyboard at the beginning. (The Farewell version is a hundred times better) "The Prodigal's Song" is an okay ballad - the inclusion of saxophone is interesting. "We Want to See Jesus Lifted High" has some excitement and rock-energy in it - it kind of reminds me of Wake-Up Call Unfortunately, I thought "Oasis" was boring. "Meet With Me" and "You Satisfy" are not too exciting either - they seem too repetitive. And "Better Is One Day" is my least favorite on the whole album - it sounds no different from other versions of this tune that I've heard.

The good thing is that the lyrics glorify God.
