*I* was having a GREAT time! Totally in my element, so to speak. Love doing all the video and photography, plus I was the escort for John when he went around to all the interviews. It was very cool this year because Dorla came along too, which she never does. I know John appreciated that... always nice to have your spouse involved in what you do.
For all you girls out there: Dorla and I really got some great hang time this year - we hit up our favorite shopping spot: Goodwill! hahaha... truly, we did, and found some great bargains on high-end name brand clothes. It's like a treasure hunt when you go to Goodwill - you just never know what you might find!
This was the biggest Goodwill I have ever been to... I was in Seventh Heaven! lol!Ok, back to the real topic: The audio quality on Wake the Dead was rather bad, but we will be getting a GOOD (or better) quality video soon... in fact, I have TONS of video from those days. I just have to get it on a DVD and ship it on over to Trodland to play with and share.
I'm not up on video processing at all, so Trodland's the man!
But yeah - John was in great voice, which is really amazing considering all the miles he's put on his vocal chords. Plus he rarely practices - how DOES that guy keep in shape, vocally?
