1. PDC albums are a completely separate issue. It is done, unless a label buys them.sue d. wrote:Brent, what's happening? You allude to money problems for the PDC projects in the "off topics" forum - is that all related to this as well?
2. I am interested in Petra and specific dream team only. That dream team, from what I have been told, will never play together. I will not say who is not willing, but it only takes one party to be the deal breaker for me. If someone else wants to try with another combination, by all means. I might come to it. But for me, there is one incarnation that ruled them all, and if I can't get it, I will not waste people's time, money and resources.
I thought that Sue deserved an answer. So that was it. Over and Out.

Re: Jonathan
If all it took was just spending a couple hours on stage together, at $5k per person, I'm sure they could do that. However, the performance would require weeks of rehearsal beforehand to make the performance worth anything, and that would mean the band members would have to do a lot of talking to each other. With only 5 guys and the tensions that exist between some of them, this could be an extremely stressful venture if they couldn't forgive each other.epdc wrote:hahahahahahahahahaha you made me laugh.

Yes, that's true. But should they still do services and preach the gospel? (Just a question, no prejudgment.)separateunion wrote:While no one is perfect and we shouldn't expect perfection, it is always a let down when people you look up to refuse to live by Biblical principles.JMBJR72 wrote:I thought christian are so supposed to forgive as we see what that answer is!

Sometimes money is not the problem:
AUSTIN, Texas (Billboard) - Pioneering U.K. modern rock band the Smiths turned down a $5 million offer to reunite at the upcoming Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival in southern California, former frontman Morrissey said Thursday.
His revelation, during a public interview at the South By Southwest Music & Media Conference in Austin, triggered gasps from the audience. When journalist David Fricke asked if he had considered it, Morrissey replied, "No, because money doesn't come into it," a response that drew applause from the crowd.
Of the critically adored act, which broke up in the late 1980s, Morrissey said, "It was a fantastic journey. And then it ended. I didn't feel we should have ended. I wanted to continue. (Smiths guitarist
Johnny Marr) wanted to end it. And that was that."

You are assuming that there's NO forgiveness between whoever is holding out - how do you know that's the case? You can forgive someone, be on speaking terms with them, etc., but it DOESN'T mean you "have" to work with them if you don't want to.it is always a let down when people you look up to refuse to live by Biblical principles.
Not wanting to work together doesn't mean you aren't living by Biblical principles...look at Barnabas & Paul (Acts 15: 36-40).
Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, "Let us go back and visit the brothers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing." Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them, but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
Would anyone like to say to Paul that he should not be preaching the Gospel because he has a 'sharp disagreement' with Barnabas?

Sue, I know you are John's publicist or whatever, but that doesn't mean you have to defend everything that he and the members of Petra do as if they're perfect. We are all human, we all sin. It gets a little strange whenever we dare to question John/Petra and you jump in and act like we are off our rockers cuz John can do no wrong.
