johns vocals

Post by yogi » Sun Apr 18, 2004 11:21 pm

as i was listening to the disc this week, i was struck by how much he sounded a lot like he did back in the head east days, i had to break out the discs and listen to them again, and he sounds very similar. I know it sounds goofy to say that but his vocals with petra were slightly different than with head east, at least to me

Bargain Bin

Post by Michael » Wed Apr 28, 2004 12:48 pm

Hey guys!

Just wanted to say... the Bargain Bin CD is a different experience from Welcome, but we've enjoyed it too! Now I have TWO versions of the song "Bargain Bin" to get under my skin! And check it out... Mikey (who is 4) will get on this kick of saying "Say what'cha what'cha WANT!" over and over. He's driving us BONKERS!

I wish I could remember which one it is... there's one song from Welcome that Mikey really digs. I'll have to ask Cat if she remembers. He'll actually sing right along with it!

Lyrics

Hehehe... yes, I did notice that! We did a play-through of the version of "Bargain Bin" on Revolution reading the words to see what was left out on the new version to make room for the rap. Not too much, actually!

YES! She DID receive it, and is thoroughly enjoying all the tunage... not to mention seeing her name in print. :D
