Re: New material in classic petra store

I bought the new t shirt and hope that it looks nice. The price for shipping is a bit high. However, I am disappointed that I have not recieved my autographed CD cover. I thought we were to have though in Jan. Well, I hope to get it soon.

Still in One Peace,

Re: Back To The Rock IS OUT NOW!!!!

After listening to the whole album, I must say that I enjoyed it......fully. We need to remember that "Petra" was dying out there and the "Farewell" Petra is performing to mini crowds at best. So, I was excited when I heard about this album. We need to remember that this is a collection album. I wou...

I must agree with many of the others

I must say that the cover art is TERRIBLE. Plus, I am not sure about the theme of the album. Why on earth would anybody won't to be cops the seem negative in the realm of worship. I just do not like it. I would like to see more before I make a difinative answer but we will see. Just a thought or two...

Title for Cartoon.

Could the title for a new cartoon for John be "For that Bid The Means War" or "This house is Beyond Belief." Just a couple of ideas.

It was Halo

Thanks for the information. I really liked their first LP never heard the second. Maybe they did not make it was due to the fact of the saturation of the market at the time. I guess the same could be said about the market at this time. Anyway, thanks for all the information. I lost some of my collec...

Question about a 80's group Bob Hartman produced

This might be a bit vauge but I had a cassette of a 80's group that Bob Hartman produced. Many said that it was over produced but I absolutely loved it. But for the life of me I can not remember the bands name. I believe that they only had one maybe two albums. Could you help me on that? Thanks.

Thank you so very much

I would like to than the person that put up these wonderful files on the net. This is the Petra that I remember as a teen. This is how they should have been treated by the music community. Not just the record company. Maybe farewell should have been done in Europe. Europe sure seems to really get in...

Lifeway was great to me!

The Johnson City TN Lifeway was great to me. I am an area minister and when I called they only had two left. They are really moving the product. I would have liked to have seen some posters or something but I asked if they would hold it for me (I called first) and they did. Oh, does anyone have the ...

Eponymous also means "self-titled"

Your friend might mean that he or she has their first album entitled "Petra" This is the one with Backsliding blues and the like. The word Eponymous also means "self titled". I am dating myself but I have been a fan since the 70's. My first album I owned was "Be the System" because it was given to m...

Really nice photos!

Just a note to tell you how much I enjoyed the pictures. Not to mention the site itself. I just hope I don't run into Wayne if I have John Schlitt in the future (which I am furiously on for my youth), I might forget that I am a minister.

Have a great day.

Hey Tina!

Tina, It is wonderful to hear that a wonderful person like yourself is from my neck of the woods. I too hail from Chattanooga (East Side). My grandfather and I used to ride the Tennessee Valley Museum train all the time. I see that you are now in England. Wow! That is great. Send me an email anytime...
