I have a prayer request for all of you petheads. I got laid off from my job Friday after 19 years. Pray that I will follow God's lead to where to go.

"..I've got a secret weapon, I'll pray for you." Do know, and trust this:

Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

So God is fully aware of this, and his promise is that whatever happens to those who love him, He works things out for good - no matter what the circumstance may be.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You that You are always the One that's in control when our lives seem to spin out of control. Thank You that in Your love and grace You have compassion upon us and we are so grateful that we can come before You to ask for Your help.

Lord, as JekyllandHyde has just lost a job of 19 years - this has to be so devestating and discouraging. Please Lord, bring first of all peace and comfort to this person and then direct their steps in looking for other employment that may even be better than what they had before. In the meanwhile, please provide for this person and their family and I thank You Lord that You already have the place of work picked out and we thank You that You will guide JekyllandHyde towards that new job.

We thank You and praise You for Your loving kindness. In Jesus Name I pray. AMEN
