KORN guitarist, Head, to join Petra?

Post by crossways » Wed Feb 23, 2005 11:28 am

No, but it just was announced that he is leaving KORN and he has accepted Christ as his Savior - Praise the Father for a new brother!

He will be sharing his testimony at a California Church this Sunday, according to several sources.

Are there any head east boards? I can't imagine too many people following them now.

We were talking about this at work tonight...

Post by eknock » Sat Feb 26, 2005 9:50 pm

I we were talking about this at work tonight, and my manager went into a predictable diatribe about how organized relegion ruins everything... Anyway, I am excited about this. Someone needs to get a tape of him speaking at that church in CA tomorrow... Any petheads in CA up for the challenge? :)

I was listening to Air1 the other day and heard about KORN's guitarist coming to Christ, and that he would devote his music to Him. I think this is awesome.

Ironically, Korn is one of the bands whose music is forbidden in our house, along with every other hardcore band like them. My son went through a VERY rebelious phase where he wanted to wear the black garb, black finger nails, etc... and became adversely affected by the influence of this kind of music. He lives in Indiana with his mother, and although she and her husband are far more tolerant of this brand of dress, they too banned the color black because of the deviant behavior the "image" was producing.

If this guitarist's commitment to Christ is sincere, it has the potential to send a very strong message to today's youth.

Head East fans seem to be pretty rabid... I'm sure Sue will pop in here. They have a very active fan community, from what I understand.
