Here's a little about the station - I really like what I'm hearing already!
As you may have already discovered this radio station is, by design, not the stereotypical Christian radio station; in other words Christian people who are broadcasting. We take a different approach. Instead we are professional broadcasters who are Christians. We see that as a big difference by taking things to the next level. The music we play is from artists who are Christians. Most is what was played on Christian radio stations of days gone by. But we also play music that should have been played on Christian radio stations (by today’s industry standards) but never was for whatever reason.
We are not limited by the reach of a typical AM or FM radio station’s signal. Instead we’re broadcasting across the USA and to every nation on Earth. All you need is access to the internet and you can hear us anywhere on the planet!
Here’s a look back at how we came to be.
In late spring of 2009, the idea came to create a radio station that plays songs from artists who are Christians. It took weeks and weeks of research what songs should be played from radio airplay charts. Once we determined what songs to play it was time to start collecting the thousands of songs that make up our playlist. The floodgates opened up and music came pouring in from all over the place! After kicking around several ways to package the music we decided to present it as a Contemporary Hit Radio / Rock (CHR/Rock) format. Then came the monumental task of ripping boxes and boxes of CDs into our computer system and cataloging all the songs. We listened to suggestions that we tell the name of each song, so you will know the artist and song title of every song we play as well as seeing it displayed on the player. After months of preparation we’ve put together a radio station that is so different we believe this may be the first of its kind anywhere!
