I actually think the original texts are as clear as the English. I think the scholars that are bringing this subject to light are just trying to justify what they truly believe and that is they disagree with God and feel that lifestyle is ok.

Yet Biblical scholars who AREN'T defending homosexuality agree that the original texts are not as clear.

I had a disscussion with my pastor today about it and he says it was and always has been in any version and text of the Bible that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed for practicing Homosexuality.

Oh, you mean like what this verse says?

Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy.

Homosexuality, homosexuality...nope. Pride. Lack of charity. Nothing mentioned about homosexuality.

He went on to say this is probably the one of maybe 5 sins in the Bible that it is clearly wrong in any language or version.

He obviously doesn't know his original texts, then.

Anyone that comes on here and says it is not clear is just trying to justify it for unknown reasons to us.

Yes. All this time I've been saying that homosexuality is sin, what I REALLY mean is, it's not a sin. It might help if you actually, you know, READ what I write.

Maybe if we had more people like Brent around here and in this Country we wouldn't be so blinded by the inmorality that is going on.

Yes, we need more uninformed, closed minded voters. That would fix the problems. Or maybe the problem is that many Christians don't actually research what they believe and let others tell them what they should believe.

Even though you(separateunion) say its a sin, you still sound like you are justifying Jennifer's preference on the issue. My pastor that I've talked to about this issue is Dr. Jack Graham and has several degree's in thelogical studies.
