Just to clarify, the contract CAN go up to ten years, not necessarily how long it will go. As far as the 3 album deal, I would be willing to bet it is the same, up to 3 albums.

Obvious anything can happen, that's life.

I am excited for them in their revamped business venture..

I don't think after getting yet another confirmation from Bob, that we need to doubt that this going to happen in some capacity.

We have no confirmation of this. Unless you're just speaking in theoreticals. If so, why not up to 30 years and 15 albums?

Since "time" and "quantity" are being worked out, it appears to be some kind of a label deal and not just a distribution deal. I have no idea about the specifics in this case. But generally speaking this is true 99% of the time.

"Time" is irrelevant. If Petra was given 10 years to release 3 records, this means that they have 10 years to release 3 records. That is the deadline more or less. In today's climate, anything over one album would be cake. So, if someone is funding three records for THIS band, praise God.

It does absolutely no good to second guess what may or may not happen. Rest assured, if Bob and Greg are getting involved and are signing with a label, the deal will be beneficial to them.
