I'm a little concerned about the way private details are used in relation to target advertising.

I've used advertising on Facebook, and its really up to the individual user how much information he wants to make public. It's generally targeted by demographic information (age/location/education/marital status, etc). It's what you see on the right hand side. Those things never use your private emails though, as Facebook corporately is able to do...if they wanted. And probably do.

Well, to give them some credit, I switched emails on my account several months ago and I've seen no increase of spam. So far so good.

Well, Yuri, what should we call you? Bill or Wes?
