If you listen beyond the enjoyable fan getting into the band, you will hear some interesting sounds on stage.
All I can say is WOW

The crowd really seems to be getting into it with this song. I miss Louie also, maybe one of these days but I wouldn't count on it.

Just a couple of observations from those two videos.
1) The absence of either Paul or Louie is immediately obvious to anyone familiar with the band. I too have always love the groove that Louie captured in a live setting, but also felt that Paul did a good job of holding down some serious groove while adding his own flair as well. Kudos to Christian for helping out Petra when they needed him...but, you just can't substitute for a drummer who has been touring with the guys for years.
2) The drums were mixed TERRIBLY!! Ok, I know it was a video feed. As a long time musician myself, I know how to compensate for that sort of thing when I'm listening to a regular fan video. However, even with that...the drum mix just didnt sound right. Not huge...not bombastic...nada! Come on, sound people...this is Petra we are talking about! A poorly mixed show can make a great band sound like doo...and this didnt sound particularly well mixed. Maybe not as bad as the Farm Aid appearance...but not much better either.
On a positive note...it was nice to see so many people out in the crowd...I would love to hear those guys in an environment where the sound was mixed right...and after those four had a chance to play together a few months! One can always dream...

Well... the Substitute Drummer did a good job, but when you know who is Louie or Paul... well you know that something is missing here...
