Very nice. So John wants to rock on his next album? That's good news. And do you have more details of the Best Of project? Will it be just remastered stuff or maybe some new recordings?

I guess I kind of expected a bit more of "we're both part of Petra" talk going on. Nothing of the sort. Too bad.

Wow! That "beginning my 3rd 30 years" stuff really hit me. He's holding up quite well.

I love the idea of him making a "best of", freshening up some of his older stuff and maybe adding a couple of new songs. That may make more sense than a totally new project at this point. I'm sure John is thinking of this but it could be used to promote and supplement his solo shows pretty well. I'm wondering if it will be a production similar to II Guys or more full blown like The Grafting.

Bring it on. I NEED something new!

A "Best Of..." album would be great! I hope they load it with plenty of songs from SHAKE, as that album is out-of-print.

Shake can still be purchased. If it were in print, how many people would buy it anyway? I don't think it matters because it is on Limewire and other subscription based streaming music services. People who have never heard it probably don't know who John is anyway. This is the old dead horse. John needs what all of us indies need....a big, rich, risk taking, capitalist to get John exposure. Then all John has to do is step up to the mic and deliver what people want, in a genre they want. I don't think we will see John doing screamo with Devil Wears Prada anytime soon.
