favorite tv shows
What Tv shows is everyone watchingright now. I just finished the last season of 24 and it was better then I thought it was going to be. I watch alot of shows like Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarachy, Damages, The Shield, and Dark Blue , and there is a new show out on AMC called Rubicon that is very interesting. IMO comedy on TV is truly dead; nothing compares or will ever compare to Seinfeld. I like some of The Big Bang Theory, but other then that it really stinks out there right now. Any thoughts of this?

Re: favorite tv shows
I love "The Closer". I like "Rizzoli and Isles" too but I have a hard time staying up to watch it.
I watched a few episodes of "The Shield" and "Damages" and liked those shows...Good acting...But I never really watched them regularly. Seinfeld was funny but I didn't watch it regularly.
I like "CSI" but haven't watched it as much since William Petersen left and I like the various "Law and Order" shows.
You're right, there's not a whole lot out there worth watching.

Re: favorite tv shows
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly and Veronica Mars were all great. Lost was pretty decent, although I need to finish the last season. I am also trying to get into Battlestar Gallactica and The X-Files. It's hard for me to keep up with current TV shows because of my work schedule, but I enjoy Chuck a lot when I can watch it.

Re: favorite tv shows
I don't make time to watch anything, really, but I've always liked The Simpsons. I wanted to like whatever buddy cop show that is with Colin Hanks and Brad...somebody. But that ended up being terrible. Same with FlashForward. Plus that big break between seasons made me lose interest.
There's lots I useda like...Alias, X-Files, The Office. I'll probably watch Fringe when it comes back.

Re: favorite tv shows
Last night's episode of White Collar was excellent. It and Burn Notice are my two favorite shows right now. This season of Burn Notice, however, has that nasty little thread of dishonesty toward Jesse running through it. It troubles me.
The greatest TV show of recent times for me was Stargate SG-1. SGU just doesn't do anything for me, however.

Fringe is another great show. I liked lost for a while but I didn't like the direction it took after season 3. Most anything Andaman touches is really good.

Re: favorite tv shows
I don't have time to watch my favs like I used to.
The shows still in record mode on the DVR are:
The Good Wife (I watch it with my wife)
FastForward (watch this with the wife too. They need to kill off Sulu so he can get to the Star Trek movie set.)
The Colony (this year isn't as good as last years already)
American Chopper Sr vs. Jr (new show that makes me feel better about my disfunctional relatives in OK).
Inside Nascar and In 60 (this way I can snooze through the races on "Sun-dee" and not miss the wrecks, radio chatter and other highlights)
Anything NFL (I loves me some fools-ball)
I like MythBusters, anything construction/rehab related, shows about amusement park rides, dives-diners-and-drive-ins, etc, etc but don't get to watch much.
