Re: John on Guitar
I believe the portion of the WUC tour that I saw was with Jim Cooper vs. John Lawry, maybe the whole tour was that way. I believe that I only saw the "Dream Team" once on the Unseen Power tour with the Newsboys in Boston in March 1993.

There is a road inside of you; inside of me there is one too.

New member here, but long time Petra fan. I got into them in 1988 when I heard This Means War! They came to my hometown of Edmonton Alberta for the Beyond Belief tour. I've seen them three other times: Wake up call (Jim Cooper), No Doubt (they played after a baseball game), then at Farewell in Calgary.
It was great to see them in their prime. I only wish my kids could see them, I hope Classic Petra comes to Edmonton, but its not likely. Just have to see.
Ryan.

Re: John on Guitar
I don't think John L. played on the Wake-Up Call tour. Jim Cooper was already there for the European part of the tour in April/May 1994. I think it was already decided during the recording of Wake-Up Call that John L. would leave the band. So maybe John L. made some appearances in early shows where they might have played some WUC material, but he's never been on tour for WUC.PiedPiper wrote:I believe the portion of the WUC tour that I saw was with Jim Cooper vs. John Lawry, maybe the whole tour was that way.

John Lawry played the first leg(fall 1993) of the WUC tour. I saw the WUC Tour twice once with John L. and once with Jim Cooper. He was offically part of the WUC Tour first leg in the fall of 1993.p-freak wrote:I don't think John L. played on the Wake-Up Call tour. Not boasting here or anything but I've seen every tour since NSD in 1981, in some cases I saw a tour twice, and in one case I saw a tour 3 times(Beyond Belief)
