I heard there is no plans for a tour

Get to the TBN show as it will most likely be the only performance.
No tour just pushing merchandise cd's & t-shirts, the guys are not planning a tour it's about the money like it always has been.
I heard it on the grape vine... don't shoot the messenger!

What do you mean by it's all about the money? Spell it out. Do you mean that they never planned to do a tour in the first place or they can't do the tour because of lack of funding?

actually touring will be the only means of making any money off of this for them. What they will make off of downloads and internet CD sales will only be enough to pay for the production costs and distribution and that may not even be enough.
I believe they will tour some but I really doubt it will be like they had talked about during the summer months. I see 12-15 U.S. dates in the spring with some Europe and South America dates to follow during the summer. This is what I am hearing here from sources that I have.

That right exe, The CD's are through Sony so they would get a fair cut and wouldn't be worth it to do just CD's etc. Exe do you have any dates for Asia/Pacific from your source? I know so people who are interested.

The tour is all being put together...there are dates that will be released soon...right now we are in the studio recordingthe new CD...Back to the Rock ...we are also focusing on the TV special being recorded this September.. that's the truth.

Nothing was said to me about Asia/Pacific, but that doesn't mean something couldn't be in the works. I'm getting all my concert info from a promoter here in Dallas that has been involved in getting just about any Petra concert here since the 80's, and has been in contact with current management/booking about avalibility for ClassicPetra. They actually keep contacting him to see what kind of market there is for Petra in Dallas.

I don't know the ins and outs of the deal with Sony, but I know for a fact that if Sony put up any financial aid to get this project up and running that they will get the majority of the revenue from it. The only way for Petra to make anything off of this is to tour, and I think it will have to be pretty big tour to get even that.

I think if you talk to Brent on that last paragraph he will confirm my assessment.
