Matthew there still is a market for Schlitt/Petra.. even if old stuff never released was polished a bit. If we all get our demo's together we might be able to get this one together.

John wrote some of the songs, Lance wrote some...

These songs were not in their finished form in any way -most of them could barely even be called a demo. Some only had the bass down with a little percussion - things like that.

If you say they were bland -- that is exactly why. They were not complete in any way, and had a long ways to go before being finished. But the potential was there.

I have It's About Love that was released on the Liberty and Justice album, but that's the only one I have or have heard.

Daniel, do you happen to have the full S2S interview?

I have three other samples of I'm OK.

I also have two rough samples of It's About Love, but I'm not gonna post them since the song has been finished and is available in much better quality on the Liberty 'n' Justice album.

Nevertheless I have the demo of "you are near" and it's interesting. It is what it is - a demo. I think this goes to show how hungry Petra fans are for new material (even though we're talking about John solo stuff here).

I'll be starting a new topic shortly - but let me add to this one by asking a question:

It's obvious that the people here on the Zone are starving for something new. John is seriously considering putting out another album - or at least a few singles. This would be what you want to hear -- pure ROCK from that classic rocker voice.

The question is: would you be willing to do some pre-ordering to fund the project?
