Okay, Felipe, I probably shouldn't respond to this, but I'll give it a try. First of all, "whatever" in the U.S. is an expression of frustration, like when you know what you're saying probably isn't being understood by someone. If you will stop looking for hidden meanings and actually read what Sue is trying to say...She and several other people have made posts and been saying all along John doesn't have hard feelings against Louie, and you've disregarded them and continue to keep making a big issue about how John feels (or how you think he should feel) about Classic Petra. You, in my opinion, have been just as rude, angry and unloving in your comments to Sue as you seem to think she is being towards you. Try and see things from someone's perspective other than your own.
I'll leave it at that and let Sue take care of any other replies if she chooses to make them.

I just said that John was OK with it like the blog said, and she went off on me, like you said, frustrated and annoyed. I don't know, am I crazy, our I did not deserve that attitude. This is weird. I was not even saying: "you see Sue, I told you".

This is very one sided. I did not even think about Sue when I informed the Zone on the posting. She can imply all she wants in my comments, and I get slammed for reading stuff on all other people's comments? I even forgot she ever brought this thing out. The Classicc Petra Administration took it on themselves to comment on the issue. I think there is not even one mention of John Schlliit by the people who have posted on the Classic Petra blog since it started.

Fcollazo....that was a drummer joke. Drummers most often are not real musicans. Enosh started it anyway.
Louie reads and writes charts. He charted the PDC tunes on the spot for us.
Re: the firing. Bob said that it was not his descision, but John's.

Brent, I knew what you meant, I was just playing along. I know you appreciate Louie, it shows on PDCs recordings!

I just hate the whole "original members" comment. I emailed everyone who had an email address associated with the band and gave my opinion. It is at best misleading and at worst deceptive. I hope they edit it.

It did not say "founding members", so how is it incorrect? Are thes 5 guys not original members?

Exactly. That's all I was saying. Thanks Shell.
I have to agree -- the 'original lineup' tag is wrong... THE original lineup played in 2005 on one or two of Petra's Farewell shows. I have a few photos here:

Still misleading. If they are original members, so is anyone else in the 30+ year history of the band. Probably an oversight- but still needs correction.

I could almost see it sticking if it were these guys with Greg X. Volz (He did have a "guest" spot on "Come and Join us"), but not the BTS/CITAS lineup. John sang with those guys longer than Greg did! I can see why they're using that line-up, though. John Lawry is the best keyboardist I've ever heard, Mark Kelly is no slouch on bass, and Louie is the longest running drummer in the band's history. I will be honest and say I wish it was John up front (no offense to Greg, he's a great singer, and I love his music with Petra as well). Any chance of John making some of the Classic Petra dates, or is that up in the air or a suprise?

Agreed. Very sloppy. Bob is the only original member of Petra to have played with the band since 1978 (minus the 2004 reunion show, of course). Volz is about as close to an original member as you can get otherwise (since he appeared on the band's second album), but Louie was Petra's second drummer, Kelly was the band's second bassist, and Slick was the band's second keyboardist, and Petra released four albums before they all appeared on stage together.

Seems like so many people want to fight rather than walk away.

Well, it has been stated in several interviews by Petra members, that Petra REALLY began, in their mind, with the MPTYA line up. That was Petra. That was when they broke, when they started selling arenas, when they started getting noticed. The public and industry at that time accepted this as well. In fact, I was in radio back then, and we were not really allowed to play anything pre NSD, because of the music of course, but also because people did not know that music and would not accept it as Petra as they knew it. Makes sense.
So, no, these are not the originals, but nobody cares. Those records never sold much. Even when Petra was livin' high on the hog, those records didn't sell much. I can't recall ever hearing more than one song from Washes Whiter Than and any from the others, and I have attended shows from every tour. Maybe someone else has heard a different set list. It is possible. But the point remains, nobody cares about the old original line up. Classic Petra is the one that Bob is willing to invest time and recources into. What does that say to you?
