I know you don't like covers, Brent, but I would pay to hear those songs "remaked" by you! Man, "Shakin' The House" could be a killer track if it was done right! It was always one of those songs I felt never "got going".Some of us were chatting about songs I would consider completely remaking into a super heavy metal tune....this one was one that I have always thought would be a contender. Shakin' The House was the other. Both of those have the lyrical content that begs for a heavy, crunching arrangement.

I really like Shakin the House the way it is, its my favorite off of BTTS. Johns vocals near the end are some of his greatest feats.

Re: Killing My Old Man Question
I think a cover album in tribute would be awesome.

Re: Killing My Old Man Question
I emailed Bob once with the same question about Killing My Old Man. I asked if it could be released in an online download. He said he didn't know where it was. I figured if anyone knew where it was it would've been Bob Hartman.

Would've loved to hear that. Sadly it wasn't plsyed at the show I was at.executioner wrote:I've heard the song live 3 or 4 times. They played it as late as of the On Fire! Tour, but as far as I know nothing beyond that. I do remember that you could tell Ronnie enjoyed playing that song and John nailed it.
