I'm guessing they put somebody in charge that had no idea about the history of Petra. It looks like somebody just looked at a photo and said "who's gonna tell the difference?"

Daniel has a history of making little remarks like this about things I say. There's not much I can do or say about it since he runs the board, so I said pretty much all I could say.

Actually, I didn't see Daniel's response to what I said. So I wasn't ignoring it. I'm sorry, the first comment just seemed like sarcasm to me. It if wasn't meant that way, I'm sorry, but I didn't see any other way to take it and since I took as sarcasm it seemed like I was being nitpicked. Daniel you have had made some sarcastic comments in the past at my expense so I think I have some cause to be a little sensitive to the issue.

No, it's not that. I'll try to be less sensitive, but maybe if you don't mean to be sarcastic, stop and consider whether or not what you're saying could possibly be taken as sarcasm. I know it's tough given the limitations of print as opposed to talking to someone in person. I agree we all have our moments of impatience and sarcasm with other people on this board and none or very few of us are really innocent when it comes to that, but given it's a Christian board, we should all probably strive to be more understanding and gracious towards each other and yes, I will try to take my own advice.

And I’ll add that criticism is good if it is constructive and not destructive. As Christians we should be lifting each other up not putting each other down. We all have our own individual opinions, not everyone here has been raised the same way spiritually, politically so things end up getting heated from time to time.
