With this economy, I don't see many promoters laying out 60k plus, insurance, lawyering, accounting/ticket sales.

Yup my layout was half that.

What about "John's" Petra? We could certainly have a convention with Petra that would be affordable and do-able.

Heck, you got their agent right here! ;-)

I vote for Classic Petra with Greg singing the first half of the show, then John singing the second, limiting their set-lists to the tunes played by each.

We might have a show with:

If anyone could put that together there's no way I'd miss it.

Go here:

http://www.heavenfest.com/2011_Band_Survey.php

Put in Classic Petra and Regular Petra as your number one and two choices.

Have your kids do it, your parents, your aunts and uncles, co-workers, friends, etc...

If they get enough requests, you might get your double Petra show right there! John and crew were there last summer, so it does nto seem that far fetched to me.

It's kind of funny. Here in the US, you can get 8,000 or even 10,000 or more to a U2 Concert at $50 or more per person. But Petra or someone else, it won't happen even for $20 or less. Carman broke a record in the 90s for 50,000 or something like that, but if you remember CARMAN did a lot of FREE Concerts. Evertime He came to Bakersfield, it was free unless it was at the fair then it was a $1 for admition for that day.
