For a 1-2-3-4 punch, I'd go with the first four tracks on Beat the System.

A little disoriented. Getting reoriented.

I always felt like "Computer Brains" was a very weak song, and I pray its not on the list to be remade.

I really doubt that CB will be redone - they are obviously trying to go for a more modern rock sound, and CB is simply too far gone for that. BTS would sound awesome I think - also VITW and STTS.

ILA.

I don't know if I could put together a top ten.

But I do like these (cued to the solos):

Whole World

Pied Piper

Seen and Not Heard

Where Can I Go • A little tinny, but I get what Bob's drivin' at.

Sally

Gonna Fly Away

Storm Comin' • at 1:20 and at 4:00. Where were you on that one, UnknownPetraFan?

Medley • I used to skip this one, and run out of patience before they brought it back at the end.

Dead Reckoning • (™ winterlens)

Disciple

OK, so I have ten. Plus there's so many great hooks, he's almost into Terry Scott Taylor territory 8)

Bob's solos are not what I remember most about his playing. Although, he has some great ones that I remember and sing along with as much as the lyrics.

Bob's grooves, transitions, etc and tasty little things that tip the hat to his influences sometimes make me smile, if not chuckle, because they are so good to me. The late 80s/90s was when he peaked at this IMO. I heard him do some very tasty guitar hero stuff in live shows, that completely upstaged anything Petra recorded....ever. These would have been the shows to record IMO. Since I am impressed by that flair, those little jabs, runs, etc, that spice things up, and no so much the solos in and of themselves, those are what I remember most.

I love his work on the song JAH at the beginning of the bridge, also on Second Wind during both verses and also the bridge. The bridge work on all songs written by Bob are great. His rythym work are always highlights and at times sounds like galloping horses.

"Pied Piper" has not only a great mid-song solo but great guitar riff throughout.
