Hmm... I found DT to be at least "interesting", if not exactly enjoyable. I think it had some potential, or at least the idea did - but I agree that at times it sounded like the goal of the music was to sound different from the original rather than to sound good. I think if they used the same acoustic musical style, but allowed at least portions of the songs to keep the same melody as the original, maybe playing around with the underlying chord progressions and embellishing/rewriting a verse/bridge, it could have been a worthwhile record.

As it is, it's a bit of an embarrassment - which is all the more a shame, since I actually like the title/cover art.
