John Schlitt onstage with Head East?

If you go to the link below, at about 1:55 into the full length promo Roger Boyd makes reference to John singing on one of their upcoming songs. It doesn't sound like he's talking about only at the concert.

John is not recording any new material with Head East. I've talked about this very thing with the webmaster of www.head-east.com

There is simply an old Head East song recorded by the classic lineup (written by Roger Boyd) that didnt make it to an album. So they wanted to include it as a bonus on their upcoming album (it may indeed help with sales). Their is talk that they will have Darren (new lead singer) add some vocals to it as well.

But again - John is not recording new material with Head East - I understand the confusion though.

Stephen, thanks for clarifying that. I thought the same thing as BForm.

Daniel, HD recording of this event would be great! I'm just hoping they will let you. Since they're going to sell DVDs, maybe they're not allowing recording devices. But then again, they said the same for the Farewell and Back To The Rock Live recording events and you can see people taping on the Farewell DVD and we saw some videos from BTTR Live on youtube. Hoping you get some good recordings!

I'll take the camera and see how it goes, I can't imagine Rodger Boyd jumping of the stage like Axl Rose to fight for not asking for permission for taking his picture. Then again I did think Casey Anthony was guilty too.

Casey Anthony is not gulity, the jury said so. The ones gulity in this case is the DA's Office for going after the death penalty. OOPS!!! sorry I got off topic.

I have this tshirt that has a photo of John on the front, and says "Schlitt Happens!"

That's definitely coming out of the closet for this show! lol! I think it would be hilarious if all those who are coming would wear something similar....

Set List (with John): Get Up & Enjoy Yourself, Love Me Tonight, Since You've Been Gone, Never Been Any Reason, and as an encore: Jefftown Creek

A quick recap: the concert was GREAT! John had a fun time... all the HE guys were SO glad he was there. They welcomed him in with open arms, and were sincerely appreciative and respectful of John and how he helped put the band on the map so many years ago.

The the place was packed and the crowd was rockin' big time... it was pretty noisy when HE came on, but then when John came on stage the place
went crazy.

John did a great job (from what I could hear - the mix was crummy and it was hard to hear him most of the time), but from a visual standpoint - it was fantastic.

The audience went crazy indeed!

Earlier in the night I was a little curious why everyone in the crowd was sitting down - even though there were some great bands. I was told that standing wasn't really allowed, but when John stepped out on the stage as the band kicked off "Get Up and Enjoy Yourself" verrry few in the audience stayed seated and the majority were standing, clapping, singing, and dancing from that moment till the end of the encore!

What a great time! It was great to see the Schlittheads again - and Daniel, it was very nice meeting you!
