Retail release of Back To The Rock Live DVD

Post by p-freak » Thu Sep 01, 2011 12:32 am

The retail release of the Back To The Rock Live DVD will be released on September 20th. At first I thought it could be the release of the Back To The Rock Live CD, but I checked with management and this is the retail release of the DVD. I don't know if there are plans to release the digital Back To The Rock Live album on CD some time. We'll see.

I just don't see a need for a live CD. It is too easy to rip audio from DVD.

I haven't done that myself in years, but i think something like Dvd Decryptor or dvd shrink lets you extract the audio into MP3 tracks, Trodlan is up with all this..

Thumbs up on Shrink, but be careful on Windsux7 Home Edition. It does some wacky things to the registry that always trips up other apps.

I think one of those divx converter type softwares also allow extraction of the audio stream (a very large uncompressed wav file) and with blueray it is something live mkv files?
