Glenn Beck on TBN
Glenn Beck on TBN
Glenn Beck....a Mormon....has a program on TBN. Interesting. His Jesus is the created brother of Lucifer. His heaven is a bit different than ours. But, he loves Israel and has good values, so that is good enough I guess.

Re: Glenn Beck on TBN
Which show is that? I know did three events in Israel recently. One of them was billed as specifically for Christians. It was hosted by David Barton and Beck. John Hagee spoke, and other pastors also participated. Beck also spoke at Hagee's annual CUFI event in Washington D.C. He's trying to maintain a fine line where people of various faiths can unite without endorsing each other's faith. The more he hangs around with Hagee, Robison, Dobson, Graham, and others, I pray he is closer to finding the real Christ. However, the more I listen to what he says, I suspect he's becoming more entrenched in the Mormon faith.
He has implied several times that he has shared his testimony with Christian Pastors who have said that they believe he is a Christian. I don't see how that's possible.
He spoke a couple weeks ago, with David Barton, at a church in Dallas for their sunday morning services. I found that puzzling.
My biggest complaint about Beck, though, is that despite seeming to take his faith very serious, and despite his involvement with a number of Christian leaders, he shows no intent to clean up his foul mouth.

At best Beck is somewhat off his rocker. Some at Foxnews wanted him to seek help which he refused. His conspiracies are mostly off and are not fact based. I do like some of his stances on Israel though.

Re: Glenn Beck on TBN
The more time goes on, the less rediculous Beck sounds. I hope he's wrong. Time will tell. I wish I would have bought some gold 2 years ago when he started pushing it real hard. He sure as H@ll! wasn't wrong about that.

You are not just whistlin' Dixie there brother! Me too. I could kick myself. Now, we did try to stock up some food, but I ate it. Heck. If it's in there, it's gonna "get...in...my...belleh!"

Just more proof that TBN really stands for The Baal Network.

Yeah, we're in the process of stocking up on food. We have a set of shelves in the basement that we actually call the Glenn Beck shelf. It's for the worst case scenario situations, should they happen. Stock up on food while you can. Do it before they make a law against hoarding.

J, dude....the government has your back. Drink the milk and eat the cheese. The nipple is big enough for everyone. Obama has money. If he runs out, he will print more.

Dude. You have no idea what you are talking about. America is not God's chosen country. It is a shame that some people have taught that in the past. They taught that God ordained our beginning. Well, God is sovereign and Jesus Christ has been given all authority, and the governments are his responsibility, so there might be some truth in that. The USA is not perfect. Believers have a country that extends beyond our boarders. Not all Americans want what the Republicans want. I don't. I don't know who they are. Most of us do not. That is why the T-Party movement came to be. They want things to get back to square one.
Democracy only works if the people have a voice, the votes are counted and reported accurately, and our judicial, executive and legislative branches do what is best for the country, instead of themselves. All of this is suspect. That said, I have been many places while touring, and there is no place like the USA. I, like most other defectors from other oppressive countries our president and government are striving to emulate, choose this country. It is not perfect. No place is. Don't get me going on Canada. You guys are not exactly the most proactive and involved nation on the planet. Canada is a weak nation that rides the fence historically. We all know what God thinks about people that ride the fence

Hey Brent, love ya in Christ man, but Canada does have its strong points. Yes, we've unfortunately "ridden the fence" on many issues, as you say, and some of our leaders have been VERY passive. It remains a long-standing joke (or barb) with us, that if you say anything negative to an American about his country, he'll get in your face for it; but say something negative to a Canadian about his country, and he'll apologize! But, not ALL of us are like that
That being said, I'm pleased with our PM's stand for Israel. God love 'im. (little Newfie slang there
) He may not be perfect, but I prefer to count the ways our country has blessed others, and BEEN blessed. Personally, I think Canada is the best country in the world, but of course, I may be a little biased...
Not startin' a fight, just stickin' up for my country like a good French-Newfoundlander would!
Anyway, where were we?

The ONLY reason I replied like I did is because Mat is constantly dogging the US. I have friends in Canada and I love the Anthem...it makes a killer rock guitar solo
. Anyway, like I said....countries are countries, and our country as believers is heaven, and we are all grafted into Abraham's clan. We can all agree or not about our countries, but it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.
