He will be another Ross Perot. He makes some sense in some things, but is so far out on others, and almost too honest, that nobody will take him seriously. We do not want the truth. We cannot, and do not want to, handle it. No President is going to balance the budget, save Social Security, etc. We owe so much money now, that there never has been nor could there ever be enough money on this planet to pay for it. We are scuh-roood.

He has some good domestic policies like doing away with the IRS and taking away a lot of the overpowering authority the Federal Reserve has which is just a special interest group for Wall Street and large corps like GE, but his domestic policies have no chance getting applied with Congress. His Foreign Policy is at the very least absurd, which is basically no foreign policy at all. Bringing home all military personel and closing all foreign based U.S. military bases, defunding and basically getting rid of the CIA and Navy.
In last election cycle he talked about not only a border fence with Mexico but also with Canada, and also in the past talked about that it wouldn't be bad idea to consider selling Alaska, Hawaii, and all our island territories.
I will tell you here in Texas except for his district he is not in anyway taken seriously.

I will tell you that Ron Paul staying in the race will be the single one factor in Obama getting reelected, and also Romney could also factor in it also because the true conservative blacks that have left Obama's side hates Romney even more.
I truly feel that there are only 3 people that can beat Obama head to head and that is Perry, Cain, & Gingrich and that's only if Paul folds and goes home.

Most of the black pastors I deal with will concede that Obama has let them down, and they do not trust him. However, they do not want to see a Mormon in the office either.

I'mn not a big fan of Mit Romney. But, if he get the nomination, and the choice is between a Mormon and his values or a parishioner of Rev. Wright and Black Liberation Theology, I'm going with the Mormon.
Beyond that, I'm going with the guy that has half a clue.

I will for sure go with Romney over Obama, but think his shot running against Obama is hurt because of his moderate stances. Tea Party and supporters have shown no interest in voting for Romney and many have said they will vote third party if it comes down to it. They feel Romney is really not any better than Obama and in a lot ways I agree.

While I will certainly vote for Romney over Obama, my real hope is still for Herman Cain.

I have long thought that our next President needs to be someone who had never held political office. I don't want someone corrupted by the Washington culture. I want someone who won't be afraid to fire people who don't perform. I want someone is more interested in fixing our problems than in acquiring personal power. To me, that person is Herman Cain.

So, he has my vote in the primary.

Another reason, a minor reason, I hope he wins is that maybe it will shut up all the morons who accuse Conservatives and the Tea Party of being "racist".

I do not like Romney but if forced to will vote for him just to get Obama out of office. I like what Cain has to offer, but no nothing about his social issues and I feel he might be too green for the job and get in completely over his head like Obama has done. I firmly believe Obama doesn't have a clue to what is going on or have a clue to what to do about 90% of the time. I think Perry will be the strongest leader for the position.
