Making your computer faster while still saving power

Post by Boray » Fri Jul 08, 2011 5:10 am

The problem with Windows' processor frequency scaling is that it's a bit slow in raising the frequency when needed, so you end up with a computer feeling slower than it is.

My program puts an end to that by bringing user activity checks into the equation:

It now works for Windows XP too! With a few settings file edits...

AMD would be a big, big mistake. Intel keeps proving over and over that they are more reliable than AMD, I have always had problems with AMD systems, AMD (Attention Mechanical Disorder)!

Thats cool.

Mac has something similar.

I was talking with a Windows 8 beta tester and he was going on about all of these new features coming soon, and I was like...."We have had that in a Mac since 2002." Some of these guys a re little late to the table.

There are some smart software engineers coding audio applications for PCs in assembly language, which makes for a very compact program and quick install. They basically go around Windows, using it for file management and video control. The best way to use Windows is not much :).
