Jan, download iTunes, import the files, burn the songs to disc, select "burn audio disc". Burning an audio disc puts the table of contents at the front of the disc, so that the car stereo player knows what to do with the files.

The files are .wav files, not mp3. From what I understand, wav files are high quality. These came directly from the producer, who got them straight from the masters. This probably is why they don't play on a car stereo (someone jump in here if I'm wrong... ).

If you want - - I can sent you the mp3 versions or you can convert them yourself.

If we declare that the Christian way is better than the worlds ways, is that bragging or is it telling the truth? Yes, America has plenty of faults as well, but all countries have plenty of faults. The difference with America is that her exceptionalism far exceeds what we see from most countries in the world. We offer more freedom (at least so far), more opportunity, more rights, more charity, we have helped countless people throughout the world with security, education, healthcare, food, clothing and we have raised the overall standard of living for the entire world due to the success of capitalism and the freedom of the individual to be everything he or she can be. This is just a drop in the bucket of all the great things that have come from America due to the values and principles this country was founded upon and the fact is, those things that are bad about America have not come from those values and principles, but rather from a departure from them. If you research the history of this nation, it was founded by Godly men and the providence of God was obvious in it's succeeding as a nation against all odds. There is a reason that people come from all over the world to live here, it's because they get the message, America offers something better and they want a chance to live that dream. So again, it's not about bragging, it's about declaring a better way and being proud of something good in a world that is so filled with evil.
I agree with all of the above, and I'm very proud to be an American, but I'm a Christian first.

Yes, that would be great! I have iTunes, but it's not working for this.

Wav files are exactly the same file as what is pressed onto CD. If the listener has an old CD player that will not play a CD-R, then they will need a table of contents, which is in the burn options/preferences of nearly all media players for Windows of Apple.

Go to your advanced preferences, and you will find the option of burning an MP3, CD-R or Audio disc. Burn an Audio disc.

I could easely make a list of things and elements in the danish society that are better than what you have in America, but I don't want to make this a childish bragging competition. And it all depends on what you focus on. But this seems to be an endless discussion, and as most americans don't know much about specific european societies it's very difficult to discuss with you, so I think I will leave it right here. But I think your attitude is a shame, and obviously you are not aware of all the areas where you are a lot worse than some european countries, canada ets. Every country is filled with godlessnessin different ways, but we will see something else in heaven one day!

I agree... this whole thread tends to go off-topic constantly. It's understandable, due to the nature of one song in this album. However, there's much more to this CD than one song.

So let's go in the total opposite direction, away from all the political/nationalism talk:
I'm curious to hear some commentary on "THE GIFT" which was written specifically for John's wife, Dorla. What do you think - do you like the simplicity of it? If you were Dorla - how would you feel, hearing John sing this, and knowing the world is listening?

Have no idea how it must be like for Johns wife, probably you would feel very thankfull and a little humble about it. But the song and it's simplicity is really beauitifull, like it a lot!

Sue, if I were Dorla, I would just melt everytime John sang that song to me. I get so giddy just thinking about it. It's something that keeps me up at night thinking "what would it be like to stick myself in women's shoes"........First of all it would never work, Because my shoe size in Men's is 15 Wide. Thank's Sue for making my day, I'm guessing that question should just be a target for the female users. 8) Love ya Sue, you know I had to go there.....lol

What a breath of fresh air.... I love this album.

sounds like: PDC/Linkin Park/GNR

This the best solo album from John.

That song for Dorla is sweet.
