I'd prefer the second or third one. The Classic Petra cover on there is pretty cool as well.

They all seem to scream a little bit too loud: TOURNIQUET!!! I'm not sure if that fits with TGC.

There are indeed some TOURNIQUET in there!

I continue to be impressed by TGC the more I listen to it. I love the fact that as you go from song to song the styles change, but yet stand together as a unified rock album.

Take Me Home I think is one of the most well executed songs John has ever done. It's just so rich, with lots of different things going on, but not overproduced. And there's lots of variety within the song itself. And as a bonus, lyrically it's probably the most Bob-like song on the album. If you want to turn some heads with the first single, make this the one.

It's one of my favorites.... as you say, love the twists, turns and especially the lyrics.

Yes, BriGuy, I agree with you. The more I listen, the more I love it. I posted a while back that I didn't like two of the songs on the album but that I liked all the others very much. I take that back. The two not-as-good ones have grown on me. I now like every song on there.

Take Me Home - great choice as the first single release!

I really don't think you could go wrong with any of the rockers as singles. When will we be hearing one of them on the air?

My wife isn't typically into rock, she tolerates Petra because I like them.. But that was as far as it goes until now..
She is playing TGC in the car all the time and is singing the songs... This is so cool. She is looking forward to the Pethead convention now!!

"she tolerates Petra..." too funny! But how cool that she actually LIKES John's new CD! Love it! Can't wait for the convention - it'll be a great time!
