Oh, there were tons of people wanting to be. There were lots of people wanting to go through the mechanics to achieve the success of others.

I don't know what I think about that yet. I still don't get how singing a song more times, louder and louder, with varying degrees of arm height elevates one's soul closer to God. The way I see it, God came down to me via Jesus. Trying to get to him in some other way in the song service is like building a musical tower of Babel and I just can't wrap my arms around it all.

As usual, a bunch of technical stuff was showered on the people, to give them an idea of what can be done. What can be done isn't always what should be done. What can be done is sadly out of the budgets of the average church. I hate that show-biz aspect. But, if someone can apply the concept to what they have, to communicate something in a new way, that is great.
