Beyond Belief Tour-->Detroit
Hi,
My computer bummed out on me a few weeks ago and I lost the video for the BB tour circa 1990.
Trodlan has taken it off line and I couldn't find it on youtube. Does anyone have it they would share?

I see I have some dead links on my page. I'll try to correct some of them.
Anyway, the video I shared earlier is uploading right now to Youtube and will be available here in an hour.

I never saw Petra on the Beyond Belief tour- just the Unseen Power tour. I really like the way they used the stage and it had the look of a cathedral for the first half of the show. Then it all came down and they had a blank white backdrop. The light show was pretty cool for the time. Newsboys opened up for Petra. What was the BB tour like?

The BB-Tour was awesome. Saw em in Munich and had a lot of fun. In general is Ronny my alltime favourite PETRA-Member. He had so much energy on stage.

How did you miss the BBT in Houston? they came twice in 1991 to Houston; the first was in Sam Houston Col in late Jan, and the 2nd was at Astroworld in early August.

Re: Beyond Belief Tour-->Detroit
hehe how did I miss them? Well, I was a freshmen in HS for starters and I didn't discover Petra till the BB album and had no idea that the band was touring. I also had never been to a concert outside the Rodeo. THis was around the time I went to my first show on my own. It just happened to be DC Talk with the Newsboys. Looking back the music was terrible (Nu Thang and Boyz will be Boys) but that was the first concert for me. That first Petra show was impressive.

Thanks Trodlan. Brings me back to the days of the show in Worchester, MA. Instead of an opening act, they played the BB movie.
It was actually a great warm-ip to the show.

Re: Beyond Belief Tour-->Detroit
I saw them pretty close to this time in Bismarck, ND, though I think it was probably 1990. It was the second time I'd seen Petra, the first being in 1985 on their Beat the System tour. Although what remains of this is in only fair quality, it certainly looks like it was shot professionally at the time. Too bad it was not given a legit release back then.

Re: Beyond Belief Tour-->Detroit
this video was taken from what was projected the night of the concert on the large screens, that's why you can't hear with all that noise it doesn't look very good, and at the end if you can see that they projected on the screen " please drive home safely"

Ah, that makes sense. I had not put two and two together on that one.
