On the Neal Morse part three video, "Chance of a Lifetime" Neal states that Paul was offered the job but then had to decline due to his wife losing her job.

Neal's pretty cool... if your a progressive rock fan then he is worth a shot. Even if you're not a progressive rock fan he is worth a listen.
