Well, according to the Mayans, the world is supposed to end on December 21, 2012.

Not this year, unfortunately. But John's seriously thinking about doing a Christmas album next year. Interested?!

I seriously think God has big plans for John in the future too, and I am not sure what his next step will be. The only thing I know is that God wants him to use his voice to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ! It's disturbing to read the news and look at TV nowadays. It looks like the world is falling apart, and there is suffer and struggles everywhere. And so much pain and injustice. The two latest CD's by John is some of his greatest work ever, - where he sings right into our life and points at The Hope in this fallen world.
I have felt for some time that I want John to do another album - a plain rocker - with lyrics that speaks to both the adults and the youth of today!
I want to see John standing on a rock with his banner lifted high in these last days!
What I would support A LOT would be a new P E T R A album with the Farewell Lineup! Or another solo rocker from John & his band!

I'd like to hear John take on Downhere's "How Many Kings". I'll bet he could rock that out.
I could see something like 3 original Christmas rockers, a medium song like "How Many Kings", an original ballad, and then maybe 5 or 6 of the classics. Arrange them in a meaningful order and find some continuity between the songs, and I think you've got a winner.

Glad to have a Christmas album from John; would prefer a Easter Album in a concept sort of way over anything. The ultimate for me would be all new material from the Farewell lineup with John Lawry added.
