Looks like it from JWS.com. Maybe that's my ticket to seeing them one last time!
Turns out that I had actually been thinking of a vacation to the Southern Cone (southern Chile and Argentina) ... in December!
Only problem is, it's on the 17th. I had planned to start around the first of December. Would certainly start the trip in Buenos Aires before flying south. Being there on that date would put my vacation over Christmas, but that might not be a big deal.
Now, hopefully this will actually happen and not get lost in the bit bucket like the concert in Bogota I wanted to go to last year...
Hey, anyone want to come down and join me for the concert and the trip?

I just heard something about this. My Ecuadorian friend just heard from an Argentine pastor about this concert. He says Petra is confirmed, and it will be the last and biggest act of a major Christian youth rally in Argentina's biggest stadium, with 70,000 seats and expected to be packed!
Am thinking if this continues to be a true report, there's a very good chance I'll be there. Anyone else ... our Brazilian friends? It's not too far away from you guys!
The website of the event is

After seeing or skipping the intro, click on "Superclasico de la Juventud" for a (Spanish) description of last year's event.

H2O confirms it. I emailed them and they WILL be in Bs As! Yay!
They are also working on a Brazil tour from Dec 9-17. Guess that means the Brazillians here would be less likely to meet me in Bs As.
I also am talking to them about the feasability of getting them to Ecuador, before Brazil or after Argentina. You might want to pray for me about that!

That 70k seat stadium might be a good place to video a concert for a CD/DVD release. I know in years pasts Bride has shot alot of concert footage down there because the costs is next to nothing according to Dale, and Stryper has shot alot of video in the south also. Stryper's new DVD coming around Christmas time is and will be shot there.
