Maybe if I ever listen to Whiteheart, and more Weird Al albums, I might be adding to the list. I've only heard very little of Whiteheart, but you guys seem to say they're really good, so I should check'em out. . .

I Like Stryper and other bands as Whitecross, Bride and Guardian but these one I dont know and never listened

I just pulled out Bloom the other day and thought man, why didn't Audio Adrenaline stay on this course? Not that I really dislike their other music, it just seems so forgettable. That particular album was a glimpse of what 'might have been' to me.
Though I couldn't help but notice the irony of the line 'I don't need theology to know that God's good to me' this time around.

Oh yeah oh yeah lists.

So many of my favorites come from the before albums era, not as easy to list. I find favorite songs easier (though incredibly long), but as a lover of lists, I'll do my best.

Let's see...
Fletcher Henderson-Study in Frustration (a large bulk of his recordings) or Tidal Wave as a good shorter treatment
Duke Ellington-Hmm, the Duke disc in the Essential Masters of Jazz is pretty good. Some glaring omissions though. The RCA Complete is a little too steep these days.

** ETA: I just saw a fabulous German compilation of the early stuff for only 130 bucks! I wish I had 130 bucks...and a credit card.
So now that one.

Louis Armstrong-Hot Fives and Sevens (three disc set-the one by JSP)
Charley Patton-Screaming and Hollering the Blues (complete set-I covet it so! I suppose I could get the JSP one though since I'll never be independantly wealthy)
When the Sun Goes Down Series (esp disc 2)
The Yazoo compilations are good. Masters of the Delta Blues, Shake Your Wicked Knees, etc
Hank Williams Sr-I suppose the 20th C masters is a pretty decent overview
Big Sugar-Hemi Vision
Bloodgood-the first one and Detonation
Guardian-all of them from Miracle Mile to Bottle Rocket
Whiteheart-Freedom, Tales of Wonder and Highlands
I like Jesus Freak too

Cream-Wheels of Fire (disc one!)
CCR Willy and the Poor Boys and Green River
Wallflowers-Bringing Down the Horse (that one was so listenable)
The Beatles-Revolver
Oh and the one that People will probably think I should be locked up for
Saturday night Fever

I know it's so cheesy and bad-I like it anyway!

Newsboys, Thrive: Take Me To Your Leader 2...it's all back. Plus I love "It Is You."
California Guitar Trio, CGT+3: The one I got when I saw them live, and I am still amazed by them and its no detraction from their live show.
Collective Soul, Collective Soul: I heard them all over the radio back in my high school days...Memories. Positive messages everywhere.
White Heart, Highlands: Very pretty.
Led Zeppelin, IV: (Un)Holy moley. This album was where I finally decided, "Yes, I will become a drummer." Thank you, Bonzo.
The Choir, Circle Slide: I have memorized all these songs almost completely, and I never tire of any of them.

Yes, I like Thrive, too! It is definitely the worthy sequel to Leader, something that Microphone was not, and Love Liberty was almost but not quite either. Coincidentially, "It Is You" is my second least favorite song on Thrive, the least favorite being the title track (because it's kinda cheesy). The songs that rock my head off are "Giving it Over," "Live In Stereo," and "Cornelius." The closing ballad "Lord, I Don't Know" is really nice. "John Woo" is weird, but it's so funny.

I saw the Nu-boys at a 2002 concert during their Thrive tour - they sounded awesome! They played nearly every song from Thrive and a few of their classics. I got a taste of Peter's aussie accent as he gave his gospel testimony. And man, that advertisement before "Fad of the Land" really made me wanna buy one of them hair-sucker gadgets. (just kiddeling)

TSO is great!

Miracle Mile, for me, ranks as one of the all time greatest rock albums...period.

I also like Dream Theater (newly introduced to them)

Magdallen (sp?) was a great cd. It was a studio project by Ken Tamplin and someone else

, But it is hot!

I like anything by Guardian, but "Miracle Mile" is my favorite.

I like all of Styper's stuff, "The Yellow And Black Attack" is my favorite.

I LOVE Steve Taylor. "I Want To Be A Clone" is my favorite.

"Human Song" and "Sacred Journey" by First Call...Those CDs came out quite a long time ago, but they have some good songs. "Broken Places" from "Human Song" and "Evidence of Love" from "Sacred Journey" alone are worth the price of the CDs. Bonnie Keen sings like an angel.

Anything by Journey...I just like to listen to Steve Perry sing.
