I stand corrected. Thanks Josh. It's good to have people in the know around here.

And Calicowriter...thanks for the breaking news. I guess it has now been officially confirmed by Inpop's website that the ticket requests have been filled.

I see you got yours. I'm glad because I really need that ride home! :D

All this activity on the concert makes it rough for updating my website. Earlier I included the link for the application and just a few hours later I had to remove it. But who cares! We're going to a concert!

You know, I expected it to fill up a little bit quicker. I think as soon as all the people on the John Schlitt mailing list and Inpop's Petra street team mailing list got home and checked their email, the tickets just went.

I would have been so sad if there were still tickets available this morning!

Dixon

Post by brothertom » Tue Sep 27, 2005 10:02 am

Hi Sue,

It looks like I may not be able to attend the Dixon show, either. Fortunately for me, anyway, it's for a good reason. I have a job interview bright and early on Monday near the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Going to Dixon would probably not have me at my best for Monday. There is competition for the Palos event, due to a Head East concert. I'll need to consider if I want to travel to near Springfield for that, or stay local for Petra. Perhaps it will depend on whether I have tickets for Franklin! :D It sure would be fun to meet up with a gaggle of Petheads again. Do Petheads travel in gaggles, or something else?

If I can't make it, plese pass along my regards to the guys.

Tom

If you're a FEMALE Pethead, you travel in GIGGLES!

(sorry, couldn't RESIST!)

Job interview - whoa, good luck! I hated those... especially when you're desperate, like I was. I hope it goes well. I'll certainly say HI to John for you if you don't make it.

Jon Holtz and I were going to attend but nothing was verified that we couldn't get in. Then I don't have internet access yesterday and this happens!!!

For those of you who didn't get the chance to reserve your ticket, there is a glimmer of hope...

If you're feeling lucky, show up to the venue at 6pm on the night of the show. Any unclaimed tickets will at that point be up for grabs to the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE that there will be any unclaimed tickets available, so keep that in mind if you're planning on traveling from afar.

So... it's up to you :)

Hey InpopShara,

When do you think we can expect to see the confirmation emails?

And...

Are you guys sending tickets to the home addresses of the first 200 or will the confirmation email be enough? You see, I'll be out of town and away from the internet as of Friday afternoon.

I don't want to miss the tickets if they are sent to the house, and I don't want to miss the confirmation email since I'll be away from the computer.

I'm trying to CO-ORDINATE. 8)

Good question... email is most efficient and low-cost. I doubt if anything snailmailed would even arrive in time, especially if you're mailing cross-country.

Enosh - check your email from me. After all, you are the leader of John's solo band, ANDBAND! There should be no reason you can not get in.

I'll be sending out confirmation e-mails to the 200 ticketholders tonight.

Tickets will not be snail-mailed. We will be asking the ticketholders to pick up their tickets at the venue on the day of the show. We realize it is short notice, and so we are trying our best to make it easy for everyone.

Good call InpopShara!

You've made my day! (That is if I registered correctly for the tickets and get a confirmation email tonight). :D
