Photography also wasn't allowed, but we were lax on enforcing that.
I was wondering about that... I had heard about no flash, but not "no photography."

But nothing was said from onstage before the filming, so I figured Inpop changed their minds.

So I shot away (mostly without flash) as I usually do, but refrained from pulling out the video camera (which was really tough not to!).

Hehehe... I know. The thought DID cross my mind. But how would it have looked if I, John's bookie & webmaster, got kicked out? lol!

Besides, I have PLENTY of video collector items... shot with permission, of course.

great clips

Post by brothertom » Sat Oct 08, 2005 12:21 pm

Well, I may now have a new favorite Petra moment other than the one described for the DVD. Clip CIMG1840 is right at the very beginning of the evening. John's getting everyone pumped up, and things are just starting to get rolling. John shakes hands with someone from the crowd. That was your truly! :D What a way to start off the festivities!!!

One question.. How do I view the clips? I click on one of the pics, and then it goes to a page where the view should be, but nothing pops up. Do I need to download a certain viewer? Please help.

Thanks!

True quote from Sue and John after the concert:

Sue: I've got something for you. Do you have something for me? (handing him an envelope)
John: Yeah, I've got something for you too.

It totally sounded like a drug deal going down or something!

Ah, I see...

I never saw the "no video" signs and was very surprised that nobody said anything about it from the stage... so I shot away. But I will be legal and take them down as soon as I finish this paper I'm working on. (Ah, the life of a college student...)

LOLOL!.... what can I say?

Since this venue was too, too public, we decided to "carry out our business" the following day in the privacy of John's home.

It was safe. No one saw us but Dorla and Krey and Bridget. And they won't talk. We made sure of that.
